Her poetry won awards in Russia and in her debut novel <em>Endstation Ru\u00dfland<\/em> she created a dazzling portrait of Russian life in all its contradictions and facets. Almost 15 years later, in her <em>diary From the End of the World<\/em>, she describes the Russian present after the invasion of Ukraine.
