Mother tongue, migration and cross-border writing. A conversation with Esther Andradi and Timo Berger. In Die Reisesprache, Esther Andradi presents a collection of autonomous texts that transform the pulse of life into a riot of writing. A homage to the mother tongue, a bow to translation, a journey through the lives of migrant writers. Andradi dwells on the work of Flora Trist\u00e1n, Juana Manuela Gorriti, Helena Araujo, Herta M\u00fcller and the poetry of May Ayim, travelers who weave the nomadic canon of the same author who lives in a foreign language and writes and publishes in another, a book in which writing is the protagonist.<\/p>
