Pussy Riot<\/strong> are back with a new show! Blending punk and performance art, strobe lights, and flute music, they tell a story of resistance, oppression, and revolution that combines elements of a concert, a rally, theater, and a political happening. The show is based on the two books *Riot Days* and *Political Girl* by Pussy Riot<\/strong> founding member Maria Alyokhina. It combines live music, spoken word, video, and performance art to tell the story of the group\u2019s actions and Alyokhina\u2019s experiences in a Russian prison following their infamous protest in 2012. The new show Riot Days<\/strong> <\/em>also addresses topics such as oppression and violence against the LGBTQ+ community, the story of Alexei Navalny, and Putin\u2019s invasion of Ukraine.

In 2014, Pussy Riot was awarded the Hannah Arendt Prize for Political Thought. They campaign against the Putin regime and have already faced imprisonment as a result. \u201cRiot Days\u201d \nis performed by a collective of artists led by Maria \u201cMasha\u201d Alyokhina. Alyokhina is supported by Alina Petrova (vocals, violin), Taso Pletner (vocals, flute), Alexander Cheparukhin (producer, VJ), Andrei Kiselev (VJ), Eric Breitenbach aka New Age Doom (drums), and \nOlga Ogneva (surtitles and production). \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
