LOUD OR QUIET

A farewell game for Trautmann Özil or not

With Robin Sondermann

You’ll never walk alone?

Neck breakage on the field and postural damage on the bend.

An uncomfortable evening of theater about Bert Trautmann,
Mesut Özil and about ourselves.

Our * D I L E M M A: Do we stay quiet or do we get loud? Do we develop understanding or defense? Do we endure contradictions together or do we prefer to form our own bubbles? What is more important, loyalty as a fan or our own political aspirations?

Robin Sondermann, a long-standing ensemble member of Theater Bremen, is not only a film and television actor, he is also a passionate soccer fan. And as such, he is now entering the Weser Stadium’s fan rooms with his play, having already won over the FC St. Pauli fans for the * D I L E M M A . He is not coming alone. He is bringing along the model military soldier, Man City player of the century and Bremen native Bernd Trautmann, as well as integration prize winner and Gray Wolves supporter Mesut Özil. For one hour, the Werder Bremen identification space will be transformed into a space for thinking and playing. Fans and democrats will be challenged with two highly complex player biographies.

It’s about more than soccer. We invite you to explore this * D I L E M M A on site.
