The author has lived in Germany since 1992. His works have been translated into more than forty languages and have received many awards, including the Leipzig Book Fair Prize and the German Book Prize. Together with his son, he writes children’s books about adventures that can be experienced in a cab. Saša Stanišić lives and works in Hamburg. He is a soccer coach for an F-youth team there.
