Born in Magdeburg in 1987. He spent his childhood and youth on a farm in the Altmark region. At the age of 16, he trained at Deutsche Telekom. He then worked as a technician in Leipzig. From 2011, he studied and completed a Master’s degree at the German Literature Institute. Domenico Müllensiefen worked for many years as a construction manager and has recently become a freelance writer. He lives in Leipzig.
He received several awards for his debut novel From Our Fires in 2023.
