28.10. - 29.10. LitLab mit Domenico Müllensiefen

The LitLab (Literature Lab) is an initiative of the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies and is aimed at upper secondary school students. Through our programs, students come into contact with authors from different backgrounds and are encouraged to develop their creative writing skills under professional guidance and gain their first insights into literary studies.

Müllensiefen’s workshop this year focuses on the topics of social classes and hero’s journeys in literature. How does life in a remote East German province feel after reunification? What problems does the young generation in the newly united republic have to contend with? This year’s workshop on his novel Schnall Dich an, es geht los, which was nominated for the Hotlist literary prize in 2024, will address these and other questions.
