Uwe Hollweg, honorary citizen, entrepreneur and patron of the arts from Bremen, died on December 9, 2024 at the age of 87. His work as a patron of the arts and culture was particularly influential with the “Karin and Uwe Hollweg Foundation”, which he founded with his wife and which is also an important partner for the globale° – Festival for Cross-Border Literature.
