°1994 in Uspenka (Kazakhstan) is a German journalist and writer. He studied aesthetics in Frankfurt am Main, with longer stays in Prague, Kyiv and Tbilisi. He is a graduate of the German School of Journalism in Munich and writes for various media such as F.A.Z., ZEITmagazin, ZEIT and WELT. In 2021, Medium magazine voted him one of the top 30 to 30 journalists. His debut novel Die Verräter was published by Hanser Berlin in 2023.
